Will here is an up date on the Moose . I called the Fish and game people yesterday . Today an officer came out to look the Moose over and he said that she is okay . The way she looks is normal for this time of season .SO SHE IS OKAY for now . Died on 8/10/2013 here at the campground by the lake where she liked to be at the most.

 You do NOT want to leave your campsite the way these folks did. I went down to  where the boats were and found one of them so they came back and cleaned it all up . If you look at this closely you can see a ground squirrel.

 Well just how is everything today for everyone . I see the old Moose is still around and coming back to the campground to spend the nights .

 This is a picture from yesterday morning of the sky of smoke from the fire that is at Moose Lake . I am told that it is far away from us so no worries to the campground. The two below are all smoke too as the sun was trying to come up. .

 This is a very little boat that a man in Butte built himself. It has a 20 hp motor on it .

 The one below he built also and it has a 120 hp motor .

 We also had a airplane land on the lake today too.

Visiter in camp

Today is a very nice day only 76 degrees out with 22 % humidity so come on out and lets do some camping . It started out at 52 degrees this morning too.
Today I thought I would find some gravel to put down at the pay station and when I finished up that I was driving over the  Host spot and all of a sudden a Moose crossed the road right in front of me . She walked to some willow bushes and started to eat . After a while there a  lot of people were taking pictures  and I think that they were getting way too close . The best part is every one had cameras with zooms too but you know those cameras zooms must not work but mine sure does . So I left there and went to lunch . Here are a few

 Ooo darn I slipped in a few pictures of the sunrise this morning .

 This picture above is some campers in the C loop here at the  campground on there way down to the boat launch for a swim ( I think ) .

 This one is a camper leaving after they got some pictures and told me that the Moose was laying down taking it easy.

 This one is just one of the cars that had the road blocked so that thay could get some pictures. I was told by a  couple that the Moose had spent the night over at Piney campground and at about 9am this morning she left there and came over here.  The Forest Service reports that there is a fire at Moose Moose Lake Lake about 26 miles away.

Here we are again . Had a very interesting day yesterday . Got a full campground with three interesting animals in the camp too . About 8:30pm a Cow Moose with twins came right though the campground . Before any one could do anything she was with in a few feet of people and the two little one's were right on her heels so there was no trouble at all . She just wonted to get to the lake to get a drink and eat at the lake too. So here are a few pictures of them . Enjoy. If you can see right above the head of the cow moose there is a white tail deer. Sorry about the few blurry pictures.

Will good day to everyone .I was out early this morning an got to see some little ducks out on the lake with there mom so here are a few pictures of them with the sunrise too.

 Not a good one but the sun is coming up. A little to early for a beautiful picture but a nice one anyway.

Will last night I had a family come in the campground from Zurich , Switzerland . The mother is the only one that can speak good English and she told me that their two boys are here for the first time in the USA . They are here in the states for about two more weeks then back home to Switzerland . Real nice family .
The weather here is great too 68 out now and it was about 49 when I got up this morning . The fishing is good and the weather is great so come on out and do some camping while you can .

 These two are from this morning at six am which was 47 degrees out . The first one I was looking southeast and the second one is looking east . You can't even see the lake . It is now 7:44 and the fog is gone . The fishermen are up and getting out on the lake now too.

Well the big bang weekend is over now and it was a good weekend too with NO fireworks going off at all . The fishing must be good because the fisherman are still going out each morning and afternoon in ther float tubes and all. I am not having any luck at it and I think it is because I am on the bank not out away from the weeds.

The campground is not as busy as I thought it would be but that is okay cause it is so big . Loop B is full (17 sites) Loop A has nine sites open as of now out of 24 sites and Loop C has 10 campers out of 26 tonight but there are campers coming in each day in loop C for there reservations . It sure has been nice out so come on lets go camping .

Fishing Georgetown style

I was busy here at the campground so one of the floats from the parade gave up to the campground and drove around and throw candy out to the kids . What a great thing to do . They were singing and having a lot of fun .

Will today is another great day here at the campground . We have a full camp but there is always some one leaving each day so come on out and lets do some camping . Don't forget to leave your fireworks at home now because the fireworks are NOT aloud on the forest service land . Lets have some fun  this weekend .
