This is a bull Moose that came though the campground yesterday morning . He was making some kind a noise and driving the Cow moose and her twins up and out of the campground . At the time of this picture he was going though site #1 .
THIS picture was taken at 4am this morning out my bedroom window . what a surprise to wake up to and my awning was out so I went out and got all the snow I could off of it and rolled it up . It is 31 out this morning too . I'll get more pictures when it gets day light out . There is about 4 " out there now and still coming down . The picture below is of the campground out my back window at 9am 9/26/2013

Yesterday Morning I had to go over to Grassy boat launch and this is what I saw there . Now this is at 7am and second one is about 5 minutes later .
The one below is about 15 minutes later . So now it is about 7:20am .

These two are of the Georgetown Lake also from Grassy boat launch . The one above is with out the zoom and as you can see the lower one is with zoom . A very pretty Lake .
This morning it is 35 degrees out and just a few more days left to go camping before the season will end . It is still dark here so I don't know what it will be like when the sun comes up but I am sure that it will be beautiful to see as it always is .

I had to go do some cleaning and on my way back as I was coming down the hill to the campground look what I saw!  The picture above is NOT using the zoom and the one below is using the zoom .This was about 2pm 9/22/2013.

Then at 3:22pm this is what I saw ou side my trailer . This picture is looking out the back window at my fire pit and table . I am not using the zoom with any of theses next pictures . They are eating the mushrooms that are growing just out side my trailer .

That orange line you see is my power cord to the trailer . That is how close they are to me .
This one I knocked on the window and the cow Moose stopped and looked at the trailer . There is no one in the camp but me and I am inside because it is cold outside today . When I got up this morning it was 44 degrees out and now it is only 46 and rainy out too. I know you all are tired of all pictures of the moose but at least it is better then having bears in the camp. I just think it is neat that they come around . All we have to do is give them their space and respect them and you will do just fine at a good space between you and them .

Well this all happened this morning as I was going out to start my day .   As you can see I am at my truck and here is the Cow Moose . I was not using my zoom either . At about 7:15am Mountain time  . That is when it gets daylight here now .
This one is the calf . Man is he or she growing up.
This one is the sunrise this morning and the one below is about five minutes later .

After the sun got out today look what I saw!   SNOW in the high country so it snowed last night . It was a cool 40 degrees out this morning and it did get all the way up to 48 today and right now it is 41 out (9:45pm mt) . The weatherman says it might get down to 32 tonight . Sure hope not . Well it didn't make it that cold but it did get close 36 out this morning and should get up to 56 today 9/19/2013.
This picture is when I was not using the zoom and the one below is the same view but using the zoom .  Hope you all like what I have been doing with this blog this summer because I have enjoyed doing it for you .
It has been fun and the season is about over for this year . So if you can't make it out to camp maybe next year so see you all then okay .

This is the Cow Moose with her twin Calves.  Looks like she maybe trying to potty train the kids. The brown building in the picture is a bathroom out in the campground .
It has been about two weeks since I have seen her and I was very glad to see them again and knowing that they are doing will and okay . The calves are growing so fast too. I also have been told that there is a big Bull Moose around the camp some where too but I have not seen him yet .

I was out this morning walking around the camp and look what I ran into!  The top one is a Bull Moose and the one below is a Cow Moose .

I saw them and so I stopped on the road in the campground to try to fix my camera because I was having trouble with it . Just as I got it working I looked up to see where the Moose were and to my surprise they were right there.   All of theses pictures I was NOT using the zoom . I was not scared and all the Moose did was keep an eye on me and walked away from me . GREAT
Had two new visitors in the campground yesterday evening . . .  Mule Deer and they were eating the mushrooms that have been popping up everywhere in the campground so I guess that they are good to eat but I am not going too try them.
This one is right outside my trailer . . .maybe about 15 feet from it . Both pictures were taken while I was in side my trailer .
I tried to get a picture of the sunset last night but for some reason I can't get it off my camera this morning so sorry it sure was pretty too.
The other evening I was told that we had a Bull Moose come though the campground . Now that would have been neat to see .
Only three more weekends to go and the season will be over for this year so let's get up and out of town for a weekend . The weather is cool at night but nice and up in the 70's in the day time .

Today (9-2-2013) while I was cleaning up the campground I saw this . It is a pile of pine cones that the squirrels eat in the winter . Since they can't hide them in the trees they have to put them like this so they can find them in the winter when the snow is so deep.  Neat!
