Will Hello everyone . Everything has been going just fine here at the campground . We had a full camp since Thursday evening all three loops . I have posted enough sun rises and pictures of the moose so I will just write a note this time . Vicky has been working of her bag of rocks , looking for gems and stuff . Me no I don't do the rock stuff . I have been busy with the campground . There is always something to do . Split wood , go help someone or just go around and visit with the campers . So there is still time to come out and enjoy the nice mountain air with your friends or just to get away from town . It gets down to about 50 degrees at night and up in the upper 70's or low 80's in the day time . Lets do it get out of the house and come on out and enjoy life for a while . See you all soon then. Lets have some fun now. Also I would like to say thanks to everyone for helping to keep your camp site clean so that the bears stay away .

Well here we are again this morning . Today it didn't get day light until about 6:45 am mst time . So this is what the sun rise looked like . It was 48 degrees out and it sure was nice out too.
This was last night about dusk when I was out walking the campground before dark . The upper picture is from site B 37 . The cow moose was standing there trying to get her two twins to come on but they couldn't because of all the people and cars taking pictures of them so after a while she went back and got them so that people would leave them alone. She is way too people friendly so when you come out please give her her space and respect and then you will be just fine .
After she got her calves she went over near the lower bathroom in B loop, stopped there to eat and then went right though B loop to the timber just above the campground .
I finished my walk around the camp and as I was coming back I saw her about 100 yards up in the timber laying down with her twins for the evening . This morning I looked for her and did not see her any where . So come on out and lets go camping , have some fun and see the Moose too .
As of this morning we have a full camp but still come on out because people leave each day . See you all soon okay .

Will here I go been awhile since I have been on here so I have a lot of pictures to share . Hope I can remember when I took them . The above picture and below one are of the sun rise Thursday morning . (8/8/2014)
Also on Tuesday afternoon this Moose came in for a visit .
These two pictures are of the Grebes ducks with there young .
These next few are the sun rise on Saturday as I was doing my morning rounds .
This one is in the afternoon on Saturday . The kids are having fun in the lake and a few boaters are too.
This one is the sun set on Saturday evening .
The next six pictures are of Sunday morning when it was cool out as you can see .
This one is what happens when you don't do as you should with your garbage before you go to bed at night and a bear comes into camp and finds it . Then I have to pick it up . We had a bear coming in the camp for about four days at night. Now he has moved on because people finally got it right .
The next five pictures are of today (8/13/2014). A very big cow Moose with her baby café came into the campground for a visit and to show off her baby . The café sure is growing too.

This was the sun rise this morning . While I was enjoying this two older ladies came down to the boat launch to see the sun rise and to exercise a little (to start there day).
The mornings are a little cool now but it does warm up in the day time too like yesterday it started out at 50 degrees and warmed up to 82 degrees in the afternoon . So there is still a lot of time to come out and camp . So lets get with it go camping some where and get out of the city's. Have some fun and relax.

This was Saturday late afternoon when a cow moose was in the campground and wanted to rest for awhile . The top picture is not using the zoom and the one at the very bottom is using the zoom .
This one is at 5:40am sunrise. Just beautiful .
This one is a few minutes later and the bottom one is about 15 minutes later .
The one below is some fishermen going fishing at 6:30 am . You know the saying The early bird gets the worm. I talked to them later on that day and they said it was a good morning for fishing .

On our way home from church (7/27/2014) look at what we saw along the highway just out side of Anaconda , Mt.
Mountain Goat or upong Bighorn sheep . . .not sure which! Rare to see.
After we got the campground cleaned up Sunday afternoon we went to a car show in Philipsburg , Mt. It was great too. About 87 degrees so felt like summer!
They didn't have any signs identifying the classic cars so we had to guess what make and model. That was hard!
This 1966 Ford Mustang convertible was being raffled off so Wayne bought us a ticket!
We could sure have some fun tonight cruisin in that baby!!!
This is where we get our water from for the camper and man is it good too!
Ice cold pure mountain spring water near Spring Hill Campground.
Today when we got home from doing laundry this is what we saw in the campground! Mama moose has brought her twin babies for us to see. Then she took them though the campground and back up into the hills. Hope that she brings them back so we can see how everyone is doing.
Mama standing by the water . . .twins almost covered by the tall grass to her right.
More of Mama moose browsing.
You can see hoe close she is to camper in Loop B.
The two babies browsing.
She is crossing the road to go where the twins are at.
The twins were just so cute! Then she took them up though the camp to the woods .
